The Haze Subsidy Scheme has been active since 12 October 2026. It covers subsidised outpatient treatment for haze-related illness.
At polyclinics, every Singapore citizen is eligible. The subsidised fee is $10, or the bill if that is lower. Pioneer Generation and Merdeka Generation cardholders pay $5. Public Assistance cardholders pay nothing. No GST is added on top of those subsidised fees.
At participating GP clinics, the Public Health Preparedness Clinics, the subsidy is narrower. It is for citizens aged 18 and under or 65 and over, and for people on Public Assistance, Pioneer Generation, Merdeka Generation, CHAS Blue or Orange, or a Medical Fee Exemption Card. The same $10, $5, and fully subsidised rates apply.
Conditions named in the scheme include allergic rhinitis, asthma, bronchitis, conjunctivitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and upper respiratory infections, plus complications of those. A doctor decides whether the illness is haze-related. Participating clinics are listed on GPGoWhere.
